Home Private: Internships Children’s Ministry

Internship Description

The person who fulfills this internship will be responsible for managing and delegating all tasks regarding children’s programs and ministries.  This includes, but is not limited to organizing the monthly PlaySpace open gym event, and organizing volunteers to provide weekly child care during the church service.  This intern would also be invited to think creatively about ways to grow our children’s programs in ways that are relevant to our Phinney Ridge community.

Internship Requirements

A strong commitment to team and the church and community center missions.  Previous first-aid and CPR training preferred.  A desire and passion for working with children.  Ability to delegate and manage volunteers.  Self-motivated and creative.  Hours can be flexible but will center around a 5-10 hour week. Ability to work independently and prioritize projects.

Compensation:

Depending on hours and availability, a small stipend is available.

Time Frame:

6 months required – 12 months preferred
