Home Private: Internships Communications

Internship Description:

The person who fulfills this internship will be responsible for all electronic communication internally and externally. Internally, this person will coordinate how important updates are communicated to church body and between staff. This will include building a weekly e-mail with all updates and events. Externally, this person will maintain all the social media output to the general public and be encouraged to think creatively about how information, events and updates are communicated. Additionally, this person will help facilitate the staff meetings, build the agenda and make it available for all staff.

Internship Requirements:

A strong commitment to team and the church and community center missions. Proficiency in e-mail and other communication software/tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Hours are flexible but centered around a 5-15 hours a week schedule. Ability to work independently and prioritize projects.

Compensation:

Depending on hours and availability, a small stipend is available.

Time Frame:

6 months required – 12 months preferred
