Coffee Manager

Home Private: Internships Coffee Manager

Internship Description:

The person who fulfills this internship will be responsible for overseeing all coffee operations of Emmanuel’s community center. This will include working within a budget to manage coffee and equipment supplies and scheduling volunteers to work the coffee lounge. This person will be partnering with the community center manager to coordinate the lounge space and promote the neighborhood’s use of the the community center and coffee lounge space. This person will also oversee coffee production for Sunday morning service.
Internship Requirements:

A strong commitment to team and the church and community center missions. Prior barista and coffee preparation experience preferred. Must have strong managerial skills and scheduling proficiency. Hours can be flexible but will center around a 10-20 hour week. Ability to work independently and prioritize projects.

Compensation:

Depending on hours and availability, a small stipend is available.

Time Frame:

6 months required – 12 months preferred
