Redeem, redeemed…think about that word for a minute.   What’s the going price for a person today?  , How much am I worth?  Now multiply that by the total population of all the generations that have existed.  Can you then conceive of the price God paid in redeeming us?

Considering, then, that we have been redeemed, or bought back, we are not our own, we’ve been bought at an inconceivably large cost.  If we say we are followers of Jesus, are we living then in accord with the expectations of our value?
