building with a broken wrist
As many of you reading this already know, I fell off of my bike and broke my wrist a week and a half ago. It has slowed me down down a bit, but it mostly has taught me some lessons.
PLAY YOUR PART
Building this ministry at Emmanuel requires me to fit in however I am needed. I had my own great plans to be playing lots of guitar and leading worship through this coming season of launching the new church. I was “planning” all kinds of “great” things. I was really excited about it. But now that won’t be the case, and thats ok. I’ve been denied that “greatness” and been humbled by these circumstances. The fact is, there are so many other things that I am needed for here, that we are all needed for here. It has been cool to be woken up to all the awesome ways god can use me, even outside of my own devices. It is refreshing to be humbled. All of us need to play our part here at Emmanuel, even if its not the one we planned on.
