The Hoh River Trust
Hello Emanuel, today I want to talk about a recent trip I took to the Hoh River and the Hoh River Trust. The Hoh River Trust was formed to own and manage river lands along the Hoh River on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula with an objective to conserve, restore, and enhance these lands for the benefit of fish, wildlife, and people.
The Trust’s work is focused in three areas; restoration, stewardship, and outreach. These three main areas are a great foundation for success in connecting people to the river and the forest around it in a very positive way. I have never been so taken by a forest before and I feel as though I have left a part of myself to run around.
