weekly wandering

Jan 17, 2012 | Posted by Emmanuel | Weekly Wanderings |

January 17th, 2012

Romans 1:12 “When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours’.

Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”.

This will be one of the short Wanderings for January. It’s the first of the year, the weather often depresses us and discourages us from following through on effort or commitments. If not the weather, it may be lack of response to the good we’ve attempted to do. Been there, done that.

My challenge to us all is to hang in there at Emmanuel; give a little extra energy and persistence to making it grow, and encourage the people who are leading that effort and trying to encourage each of us in our Lord Jesus.
